Oops... I've gotten way behind on blogging again. It's been almost two weeks since my last entry, so of course I have tons of photos and updates to add! Gunnar has been a busy little bee lately. The day after the last entry, we moved Gunnar to his new floor bed, thanks to some great info and advice from Denise. He LOVES it! I think he was starting to feel trapped in the crib, and when he woke up he always had to cry for someone to "rescue" him. Now, he can get up and play a little when he wakes up, and he seems to like playing in his room a lot more now. Here are some photos of him in his room during the first week of the new bed. He especially likes to take books to his bed and look at them.

A good friend of Justin's family, Larry, was in town last week, and stopped by for a visit. He hadn't met Gunnar yet, and we haven't seen him since Jessica and Mike's wedding. Gunnar had fun and really liked Larry!

Gunnar finally warmed up to his Halloween costume! Two days before Halloween, Gunnar brought the package with his costume in it to me, and wanted me to open it. So I did, and when I put the skunk hat on him, he laughed instead of cried... yay! So that day I called and scheduled his photos at Picture People, and we got some great ones. Here are a few photos of "skunk in transition", before he put on the bodysuit. We had a busy Halloween night. We headed to Joe and Tracey's house to hang out a little and catch up with the twins (who are about the same age as Gunnar, but we haven't seen them since the kids were only a couple months old). Then Gunnar and I went to trick-or-treat with Ali, Jeromy, Maddie, and Lucy (the dog). Gunnar had soooo much fun, and by the last few houses, he was getting the hang of things.

The last photos are of Gunnar and his latest acrobatic feat. I was sitting on a stool at the counter, when I looked down at the other stool, where I saw Gunnar inside of the stool rails. When I stood up, he got himself into position to drag and push two stools simultaneously. He was so proud of himself, and posed for a few photos before he decided he had enough.

Anyway... I'm taking lots of photos of Gunnar in the leaves, and will hopefully post those tomorrow. :o)

Cool bed, Gunnar! We can't wait to see you. Cooper has great stool tricks to show you! He'll be sure to teach you how to clumb them and jump off as if you could fly. Then he'll teach you how to crawl from stool to stool as if you were a monkey. Then I'll teach your mom how to open a bottle of wine:-)
