Once Gunnar started crawling, it's been nonstop since. He literally went from scooching himself across the floor, to crawling a couple minutes a day, to crawling like crazy and pulling himself up on EVERYTHING in only a matter of about a week. He must learn very quick. The first day he went back to three naps, I was almost worried that something was wrong because we hadn't done that for several months. I thought he was officially a two-nap kid... boy was I wrong! With all this mobility has also come a very sleepy baby. I also think he's growing again - scary, huh?! When I go into his room to get him from naps, he now greets me standing in his crib smiling. The latest struggle is getting dressed, which usually causes so much screaming and fussing that I wonder if the neighbors think I'm beating him. Anyway, on to the photos, which is the best part anyway, right?
Here's Gunnar with food on his face, trying to feed himself. He gets upset at meal time if he doesn't have his own spoon, and now we're even up to him getting an extra bowl with "puffs" in it too.
Gunnar also found my old slinky in the bookshelf the other day, and it's one of his new favorite toys. I figured out how to make the camera take sepia colored photos, so we had some fun with it.
Gunnar is now a professional at pulling himself up using the couch, and is also pretty good at falling straight backward on his bottom... most of the time.
Here's a good one of Gunnar and Daddy playing this morning before we all got going.
The next phase of blogging for me will be posting video of Gunnar crawling and standing, which I have, but haven't figured out how to post yet. I have to same some photos and blogging for later this week!
